Plate knowledge: handling and storage of PC plates

1. The plate is covered with a protective film. When handling and installing , the side of the plate with the UV protective layer should face the sun. Do not remove the protective film when it is not installed.

2. If the storage time is too long in the environment where the temperature exceeds 60 °C, the sheet protective film will not be easily removed.

3. It must be properly packed and packed during transportation and storage. It should not be stored in direct sunlight or rain. PC plates should be handled with care during transportation. Keep the inside of the car clean and prevent the edges and protective film. For the abrasions and damages, wrap the four corners with paper or cloth. When transporting, the paper should be placed under the board to prevent scratching the board surface.

4 , the sealing tape on the sun board is only used for protection in transportation and storage, not for waterproofing and installation. This strip should be replaced with a special edge banding tape before installation. The edge banding tape should have good weather resistance, and the long-term adhesion and mechanical strength will not decrease.

Plates can be easily and accurately cut with standard shop tools, including circular saws, hand saws and hacksaws. The blades of the circular saw should have delicate serrations. When using a hand saw and a chainsaw, it should be clamped to the workbench to avoid vibration. When sawing, the edges of the sheet should be free of notches and plastic chips. For thinner plates, they can be cut directly with a sharp knife.

Drill

Drilling can be done with a hand drill or a mechanical drill. When drilling, there should be support underneath to avoid shaking.
